Rakhi tied the knot, at last!

Finally Rakhi has met with her ‘Mr. right’ and the much hyped ‘Swayamvar Sava’ has come to an end! It was 26 episodes long and almost 15000 promising grooms have tried their luck but only 16 contestants were chosen in the original list after a cumbersome and tiring selection. They were fighting each other to prove their worth through these long 26 episodes. At last, Rakhi has chosen the most eligible one and decided to marry her in front of the camera which was the concluding part of such pioneering reality show on last Sunday, ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’, produced by ‘NDTV Imagine’. But who is that lucky guy? He is Elesh Parujanwala, living working at Torento, Canada.

Now listen from the horse’s mouth how things were ripening. “I have been watching Elesh from day one. On and off the camera, he has been the same and has really taken care of me. He is everything I was looking for and I am glad to have found him on the ‘Swayamvar’. The Swayamvar means finding a ‘jeevan saathi’ (life partner) and I have found Elesh. Today is our engagement. I’m ready to get married now, but we need to understand better off camera. We will soon get married in front of all of you in keeping with all our tradition,” Rakhi proclaimed. Neeta lulla has designed her ‘red and gold lehenga choli’ and decorated with ‘Kundan’ jewellery, she was looking a perfect bride. Elesh and other two finalists, Manas and Chhitiz, too, were dressed up in traditional ‘sherwanis’ and ‘turbans’. And in the breath taking climax, amidst the huge applauds, she garlanded Elesh. At that gala night, among the audience, celebrities like choreographer Saroj Khan, Ravi Kishen, Ram Kapoor, Smita Bansal, Sudha Shivpuri were also seen. Well, congratulation Rakhi, wish you happy married life.
