Meet Genelia, say hallo!

Genelia D’Suza just wants to ignore her surname in the film’s credit title! Ask why? Because, by habit she has been expressing herself as only ‘Genelia’! Interesting!? Now let’s get under her skin.
She is living in two worlds; one is the world of silver screen and the world of advertisement and modeling is the other. And ask her, she is happily and successfully sailing through balancing on both the boat! But you have every right to disbelieve her. Where she has gone after her debut ‘Jane Tu Ya Jane Na’??? “I was actually preparing for four films (‘Life Partner’, ‘It’s My Life’, ‘Hook Ya Crook’ and ‘Yahoo’). I have four releases this year. Another unfortunate event was the strike that pushed the release of all the films behind schedule,” she explained. But what’s about her commercial? Isn’t it she is doing more these days? “I started my career with modeling. I enjoy the fact that people consider me worthy and responsible enough to carry the brand forward. So, it’s great to be part of both worlds,” she clarified. But you are not satisfied and want more to understand how much she is ambitious regarding acting. When she is asked amongst her upcoming movies which one, she was thinking would help to place her in the first rank. She replied, “As an artist, it’s difficult to choose which film and role I prefer since each is close to my heart. A film is not done with the intention of making it to any bracket but for the fact that you like the script and hope the film does well and you are appreciated too.” Ha, ha, ha, what you’ve intended to get and what have got!!! No doubt, she is intelligent, diplomatic and ambitious too!
Regarding her co-worker, she also has something to say. Harman Baweja and Fardeen Khan are her opposite lead casts in the films, ‘It’s My Life’ and ‘Life Partner’ respectively. She’s just gaga over her those colleagues and admitted that the working experience is quite delightful and she has derived some valuable knows-how on the whole methods from them. Well, now it’s time to pack up such serious talk and concentrate on the whispers regarding this dashing diva! Grapevine says that she has been dating with Ritesh Deshmukh these days! But she has just made it less important and didn’t indulge to wind it up! Okay baby, come back to the basic!
She was the regular and one of the super hit faces of the south. But she has migrated to Bollywood with ‘JTYJN’. But interestingly, after the huge success of JTYJN’, again she has gone back to south!!! Why??? ‘Films and modeling happened to me by chance and wasn’t planned. I had three releases in 2003 in three different languages and even before my films released I was signed down south in 2004. But it has been a huge learning experience, she analyzed. But why she’s come back again? She philosophically replied, “Not something I choose again. I think it’s all destiny and what is yours has to be yours.”  But doesn’t it demand a sheer amount of managerial skill to cope up such industries with different attitudes? “it’s the acting and the films that fascinate me as a whole. Language is no barrier,” she shined off with confidence!
