..……and they lived happily ever after

Shahrukh Khan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan have given such blockbuster hits like ‘Josh’, ‘Mohabattein’ and ‘Devdas’. In three of them, they have played different roles like in ‘Josh’, they played twin brother and sister while in ‘Mohabattein’, they played the roles of a lover and a dead soul while in Devdas’, they played the legendary characters of Devdas and Paro. The list should include another film, ‘Chalte Chalte’, hadn’t been Shahrukh replace Ash with her nearest competitor, Rani Mukherjee.

But don’t blame it on SRK. What should he do when a hunk like Salman Khan was after his life? Salman intruded into the sets of the sets of ‘Chalte Chalte’ and literally ransacked the sets only because SRK signed Ash for the lead role. To avoid such menaces in the long run, SRK dropped Ash from the film and roped in Rani. It can be said that Salman made SRK to drop ASH from this project, which was a huge hit on the box office.

Recently, the two stars met in the birthday bash of film maker Karan Johar. And guess what… they revived their friendship; chatted for a couple of minutes; SRK discussed his present status after the shoulder surgery. While SRK was in an apologizing mood, Ash was in a forgiving mood. In a nutshell, they successfully forget all the past bad memories.

No sooner did they patched up, grapevine was everywhere that SRK and Ash would be seen together again in a film. According to the latest buzz, this is not a rumour. Cinematographer turned director Rajiv Menon has reportedly signed SRK and Ash in his forthcoming venture, which is essentially a romantic flick.

According to the news so far, Rajiv Menon has already narrated the script to King Khan and he liked it too. After SRK would give him a green signal along with his dates, Menon would seat with Ash in this regard.

We only wish to see SRK and Ash together again to create the same old magic at the box-office like ‘Mohabattein’ and ‘Devdas’.
